On SMtv I have 2 rules for having artists on the show. 1) They have to have a CD pressed and ready to sell
2) It has to have at least three great songs on it.

I broke both of those rules for Alex Davis. Why? Because she freakin' rocks. I heard two songs and they were so damned different than anything I'd heard I was like, who in the f*&k is this girl? She's like Janis Joplin mixed with a punk sensibility.

I'm still waiting on her full length, but ya know what? She's still worth it.
